The first edition of face-to-face training of the QualityRights in mental health project will take place in Ho (Volta region) this week.
The training which forms part of the QualityRights mental health project is the first in 2021. It will focus on more than 20 health personnel selected from some key health institutions such as the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, Accra Psychiatric Hospital, Pantang Hospital, and the Pantang Nursing Training College. Expected are regional facilitators and national facilitators.
The event is expected to be organized under strict covid-19 protocols.
This training is one of the activities under the courtesy of the QualityRights Ghana initiative to help reform mental health services and promote the human rights of people with psychosocial and intellectual disabilities in Ghana.
This three-year project includes online training available for free to all persons interested in improving mental health care.
