About QualityRights In Mental Health

The QualityRights initiative aims to improve the quality of care in mental health and related services and to promote the rights of people with psychosocial, intellectual and cognitive disabilities. Through capacity building, service assessment, civil society engagement and policy reform, this project offers a comprehensive approach to ending coercion and promoting a recovery approach, in order to leave a lasting legacy of respect for human rights.

Advocacy


Quality Rights Project provides capacity building for advocacy on the protection of the human rights of persons with Psychosocial and Intellectual Disabilities.

Improved Practice


That everyone, no matter whether a service provider, member of a civil society group, relative, person with lived experience or friend, understands how to promote recovery and human rights practices in mental health and is equipped with the right knowledge and skills.

Policy Change


To ensure that policy, health services and supports promote holistic person-centered and recovery oriented mental health care and that the rights of people with mental health conditions, psychosocial and intellectual disabilities are protected and promoted.

Training


To provide Face-to-face and e-training of people involved in the lives of persons with mental health conditions, psychosocial and intellectual disabilities.
