QualityRights Ghana National Training-of-Trainers takes off in Accra with focus on regional mental health coordinators across the country.
The 5-day QualityRights National Training-of-Trainers program forms part of face-to-face activities to empower professionals, persons with lived experience, the general public on the quality of services and human rights of persons with mental health conditions and intellectual disabilities.
Some topics being treated includes legal capacity and the right to decide, Ending coercion, violence and abuse, Mental health, well-being and recovery, quality services and community inclusion.
The training follows a successful launch of the three-year initiative which is under the courtesy of the Mental Health Authority and its partners with technical support from the World Health Organization and its partners.
